BREAST TENDERNESS
(BREAST CYSTS, Fibrocystic Breast Disease)

Indoplex or Di-Indoyl Methane — Take 1 or 2 daily, with a meal. Blocks 16-hydroxyestrogen, thus alleviating breast tenderness as well as helps shrink and reduce fibroid tumors in women. Anti-cancer. Promotes healthy estrogen metabolism. ·

Women’s Monthly Focus — Take 1or 2 capsules daily, with a meal. Eases pain associated with menstrual cycle. Helps sooth emotions. ·

Vitex (PhytoPharmica) — 1 twice a day. Chasteberry extract helps reduce breast pain, ovarian cysts, and the cycle of infrequent periods. Lowers the output of prolactin-releasing hormone and GnRH, thus lowering the release of prolactin by the pituitary and the release of FSH. The net result is reduced estrogen and lower risk of breast tenderness. ·

Black Cohosh Extract (Medicine Man)  — Take 2 daily with a meal. Particularly useful for peri-menopause and up (age 40+). ·

Soy Extract (PhytoPharmica) —Take 2 or 3 per day, with a meal. The phytoestrogen binds to the same cell receptors as the estrogen the body produces. That’s a good thing, because when phytoestrogens occupy the “parking spaces”, estrogen can’t produce effects on the cells. Phytoestrogens are only at 2% as strong as the estrogen of the body.

OleoMed Femme — 2 softgels two times a day with meals. Provides Evening Primrose oil in a base of pharmaceutical-grade olive oil. The active constituents of Evening Primrose oil are Linoleic acid and Gamma Linolenic acid.  ·

Femdiol Plus (Medicine Man)  — Take 2 or 3 capsules once a day, with any meal. Enhances pituitary function and promotes the release of  endorphins. ·

Krebs Magnesium Citrate and Complete Nutrients for Women

(Medicine Man)  — 250mg of Mg per day and 2 twice a day on MVI. It takes higher doses of magnesium plus the B-vitamin complexes for the body to detoxify estrogen. Must influx at least ten times the RDA (daily value) for each B-vitamin to be sufficient. ·

Complete Nutrients for Digestion (Medicine Man)  — 1 capsule 3 times a day, with meals. Systemic enzymes help break up the fibroids in the breast, reduce any inflammation that may be present, and stimulate the immune system. ·

Complete Nutrients for Immune Support (Medicine Man) — 1 capsules twice a day. Tender noncancerous cysts in the breasts are the cause of fibrocystic breast disease. Assists the thymus gland in immune resistance; improves immune response; fights infections. ·

Complete Nutrients for Liver (Medicine Man)  — 1 twice a day. Excessive estrogen impairs liver function and allows for an imbalance in the estrogen-to-progesterone ratio. When the body’s liver is impaired, so goes the detoxification systems. ·

Acidophilus Complex (Health Care America) — 1 daily with a meal. Certain bacteria in the gut secrete an enzyme called beta-glucuronidase, which breaks down the bond between glucuronic acid, which estrogen attaches to, and the estrogen itself. Improving the friendly bacteria of the gut with probiotic therapy reduces the supply of glucuronidase and are now able to eliminate estrogen more efficiently. ·

Progesterone Topical (Serenity Cream) — Apply 1/8 teaspoonful equivalent (200mg to 400mg) intravaginally twice a day. Premenopausal women: apply on days 12 to 26 of cycle and no application on days 1 to 11.  1/8 teaspoonful is the size of a small pea. Yam concentrates will not do. Use progesterone therapy as a “last resort” after the detoxification and enhanced mineral/B vitamin therapy

LIFESTYLE: Eliminate coffee, tea, chocolate and cola from the diet. These substances contain methylxanthine, which causes increased cell growth and formation of fibrous tissue because methylxanthine interferes with the action of the enzyme phosphodiesterase. Caffeine also stimulates an overproduction of cellular products, such as fibrous tissue and cyst fluid. FBD usually improves in 97% of the women who avoid caffeine entirely and in 75% of women who reduce the intake of caffeine. Low thyroid function also plays a role in FBD. Lack of iodine in the diet makes the breasts more sensitive to estrogen stimulation. If subclinical hypothyroidism is at play, use Complete Nutrients for Thyroid to bring a sluggish thyroid function back to normal. Women who have fewer than three bowel movements per week are at high risk for FBD because of the gut toxicity and the reduced elimination of estrogen. Increasing high-fiber foods is good and drinking 6 to 8 glasses of water per day is imperative.

DIET: Unfortunately, when women are struggling with hormonal shifts and pain is involved, there tendency is to eat more of the wrong foods: refined carbs, refined sugars, dairy products, more sodium, less iron, less manganese, and less zinc. This is the time to eat less fat and more fiber. Eating a vegetarian or predominantly vegetarian diet helps. The body makes estrogen from cholesterol, so eating less saturated fat can dramatically reduce circulating estrogen levels. Eliminate sugar as much as possible. Eat more of the power foods: All greens, broccoli, carrots, sweet potatoes and whole grains.

Psalm 104:14 “ ...the herb is for the service of man...”

Genesis 1:29 “And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.”

Certainly we should heed God’s advice and eat the “seed of the herb” and the “fruit of the tree.” If God said it, that settles it, and we should believe it!

Psalm 104:14

1. The Prescription – “The herb…”

2.The Plan – “…is for the service of

3.The Person – “…man.”
